According to the broadcasting group holding the Leader's Debates only those parties recognized in the House of Commons will be welcomed in to the debate. The Green Party has often been called the only viable alternative party: Should a popular party that received a high percentage of popular votes, but still holds no power in the house be invited to the debate to offer an alternative perspective?
