Well, not really. But I went to one – a vote mob that is. On Saturday April 30, 2011 I went to the Edmonton East vote mob to see what all the hubbub was about.
Recently, on my quest to find interesting politically themed events to gain perspective on voter engagement, I attended the Edmonton Coalition Against War and Racism's "National Day of Action to End the War in Afghanistan" rally. I wanted to see what it was like to be in activist in Edmonton, and if going to the rally made me feel more connected to the political process.
The Verdict
It's happened again - Canadian citizens are going to the polls again on May 2, 2011 to choose between...wait - What's his name? The guy with the moustache? The woman with the blazer? The guy with the hair?
This is not good.
