Table 'One to One: Women in Coversation with Women In Political
Office': November 13, 2003
This non-partisan political roundtable discussion provided Edmonton
are women with the chance to join elected female representatives
in conversation to discuss becoming a candidate, volunteering on
a campaign, running a campaign, fundraising and finances, balancing
personal and public life, working with the media, campaign advertising
and other topics of interest.

Think Tank: June 25, 2002
The YWCA of Edmonton hosted a think tank that answered the question:
"What can the YWCA of Edmonton do to provide women in Edmonton with
the skills and knowledge to assist them in seeking public office?"

Civic Election: October 15, 2001
The YWCA of Edmonton distributed a brochure featuring procedures
women should know about voting, key Edmonton women who made a difference
in public office and potential questions to ask candidates and hosted
the Female Candidate's Breakfast to encourage networking among women.

Provincial Election: March 21, 2001
The YWCA of Edmonton delivered the Women's Candidates Forum, conducted
information sessions and distributed brochures encouraging women
to vote and ask politicians questions on issues of importance to
women.

The YWCA of Edmonton hosted a media launch of the One Woman One
Vote initiative.

for Dialogue: November 10, 1999
